Iverson Grand Sport 10!

I have owned this bike for a few months now but never touched it, haha. Some friends are needing bikes so I decided I would put it together and clean it up a bit. I appreciate this bike a lot more. Yes its a cheapy and not the lightest bike but its still in very good condition and Iverson bikes did hold their place in the bike world. I've only ran into a couple of Iversons they were certified Olympic bikes, Iverson decathon I believe for the 1976 Olympics. I still plan on picking these bikes up even though the are in terrible condition they would be a good collectors bike I think. Anyway. Pictures!

Jarobi and I flipping the handle bars back in place and taking off the front brake.

SLICK! This bike rides fucking awesome and the shifters still work pretty well. This bike will complete someones life.

Bianchi Sport SX road bike! AwwShit

My cousin has been trying to get a hold of me the past couple of days to check the tire/tube on his bike. I didn't think much, I expected a mountain bike. Most people around here have mountain bikes. Its a shame to see so many but I do see why you would in some ways but really... why? Anyway, I had him come by last night. I get anxious so I pace back and forth waiting till they show up and what they pulled out of the truck blew my mind. I immediately walked outside to check it out to see a Bianchi road bike! I owned a Binachi once but unfornately it was too big for me. (check HERE to see mine)

This frame was in amazing condition. Its a Bianchi Sports SX. The color is a blue-ish with a dash of purp throw in almost. Beautiful bike. It was loaded with a Shimano de-railer that still worked on the bike. Dia-compe brakes and levers. This was actually his dads who bought it a long time ago. Its awesome to see some family in the bike world, especially when they are sporting bikes like this.

Now to the pictures!

There is something about Bianchi bikes I enjoy. Someday I will own my dream Bianchi bike.

Road bikes!

Few more bikes to add to the collection.
Schwinn Caliente! This bike was in great shape and besides a loose BB there wasn't much wrong with it. Small frame but still sick!

CUSTOM 12 Takara!

This is a possibly next build. Something about this bike... woo.

Hutchinsons Hidden Treasures

Besides riding there is seriously nothing better than finding bikes. In Hutch you can find bikes from the craziest connections. I've found Bianchi, and peugeot frames in trailer parks; amazing bikes just sitting on the side of these trailers. And the scrap prices they throw around here for them, don't get me started....

My best connection however comes from a guy who owns a few scrap yards around town. His main one I am guessing is a bike galore. Hundreds of bikes cluttered next to each over being taken over by overgrown weeds, even the inside is full of bikes. Its an amazing thing to see. No, not all his road bikes are even worth grabbing but I managed to pick a few good ones, those will be in the next blog but here are a few goodies I left behind.

Tour De France 10 Speed. This bike was light but the frame was HUGE!

World Schwinn.

Peugeot! I had too many bikes and had to leave it behind.

Didn't get the name or model of this bike. I was just too curious to how the fuck these brakes worked.

The prize bike I left behind. This badge and name is sick. I seriously regret grabbing this one. It sits for me and waits.

Sticker art around Hutchinson Kansas. Respek Knuckles to who is doing this. Hutchinson needs to be more documented with street art. Shit is about to explode.

Two pieces of art sharing the same wall. Lovely. Aha
